Blaney confirms grant for Letterkenny school
Donegal North East Fianna Fáil TD Niall Blaney has confirmed that Glenswilly National School, New Mills, Letterkenny has been approved for grant aid by the Department of Education and Science. 28/04/2010“I’m pleased to say Glenswilly National School has been approved for external works which will be critical for the school heading into the new school year,” said Deputy Blaney.
“The work that is being funded includes roof works, a new chimney and a new septic tank.”
“While this is exterior work to the school building it is essential that children have a secure physical environment in which to learn.”
“Providing resources for our young people so they can maximise their education potential is a priority for the Government and I will continue to work to ensure schools across Donegal North East are provided for,” concluded Deputy Blaney.
