Blaney confirms funding for Letterkenny school
Local Fianna Fáil TD Niall Blaney has confirmed the allocation of funding to provide for additional accommodation at the Little Angels Special School, Letterkenny. 04/05/2010Deputy Blaney has been working to secure funding for a number of schools in the town for some time now, and he received the latest notification of funding from his colleague, the Tánaiste and Minister for Education and Skills, Mary Coughlan TD.
“I am delighted to confirm that funding for an additional classroom has been approved for the Little Angels Special School.”
“I have been working with the school to secure this funding for some time now. The school is under pressure with enrolment numbers and the extra accommodation is needed to cater for demand.”
“The Department will be in touch with the school soon to advise them how to proceed with planning for the additional classroom,” concluded Niall Blaney TD.
