Funding approved for two storey extension at Ramelton school
Local Fianna Fáil TD Niall Blaney has confirmed that funding has been approved for Scoil Mhuire, Ramelton to provide for a two storey extension. 04/05/2010Deputy Blaney received notification of the funding from his colleague, the Tánaiste and Minister for Education and Skills, Mary Coughlan TD.
“I am delighted to confirm that funding has been allocated to Scoil Mhuire in Ramelton to provide for an extension at the school.”
“I have been working with the school’s board of management for some time now on the project and I am delighted that they have now been successful in their application.”
“The school has been approved to proceed with a two storey extension, incorporating the additional classroom that was approved in March and the replacement of the prefab that is at the school currently.”
“The Department will be in touch with the school soon to advise them how to proceed with the planning of the extension,” concluded Niall Blaney TD.
