Jobs announcement a vote of confidence in Donegal workforce
Welcoming the announcement today of 71 new skilled manufacturing jobs in Burnfoot, local Fianna Fáil TD Niall Blaney said the news is a vote of confidence in the workforce in Donegal. 04/06/2010The jobs were announced by the Tánaiste Mary Coughlan TD this morning at Donegal company E&I Engineering Ireland.
Deputy Blaney said the jobs would provide a significant boost to the area; “This is great news. The creation of 71 jobs is very welcome and it is encouraging to see a company like E&I Engineering expanding to this degree.”
“The 71 jobs will be created over the next three years, with support from Enterprise Ireland, and the expansion will allow for the diversifying of the company’s product.”
“I want to congratulate the company no its expansion. For a company that was only established in 2003 it has achieved significant success and I wish them well with their expansion plans,” concluded Niall Blaney TD.
