Blaney confirms funding boost for Milford Group
Local Fianna Fáil TD Niall Blaney has confirmed the allocation of €2,100 to the Milford Community Youth Project Older People’s Project under the Government’s Scheme of Community Support for Older People. 22/06/10The funding will be used by the group to help provide safety equipment for the homes of older people in the Milford area, including monitored personal alarms, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, external security lights and internal emergency lighting.
Deputy Blaney welcomed the funding and wished the Milford Community Youth Project Older People’s Project continued success with its ongoing work in the greater Milford area.
