Blaney congratulates Donegal YMCA Milford Parents and Kids Together Family Support Programme on currach project
Local Fianna Fáil TD Niall Blaney has congratulated the work carried out on a currach project by the Donegal YMCA Milford Parents and Kids Together Family Support Programme. 24/06/10Deputy Blaney attended the boat launch today (Thursday) and he was very impressed with the level of commitment shown by all involved in the project.
“I want to congratulate everyone involved in the currach building project. A number of young people spent the winter learning the skills to construct currachs with the help of a number of people. The results are very impressive and I was delighted to attend the unveiling event organised this morning.”
